B2B - meetings

At the end of the second day of the Islamic Business and Investment Forum IBIF-2023, the organizers organized a series of B2B meetings for business representatives and investors who wished to discuss potential opportunities for cooperation and investment.

The negotiations were successful, and as a result, memorandums were signed, signifying an agreement on future cooperation between various companies and organizations.

The memorandums also reflect the significance of the forum and its importance in developing business and investment in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, and also show that the event has led to real business connections and increased potential for future investment in the region.

As part of the IBIF-2023 forum, which was held in Bishkek on March 13 and 14, an exhibition of halal products produced in Kyrgyzstan was organized

Among the presented goods were meat and meat products, berries and products of processing of berries, vegetables and fruits (jams, preserves, compotes, canned vegetables, etc.), mineral waters from sources located in Kyrgyzstan, as well as national drinks and felt products.

Meat and other meat products received special attention from guests from the Middle East. The fact is that the Middle Eastern countries are not able to fully satisfy the need of the population of their countries for meat, for example, the supply of halal meat products to Qatar is currently carried out from New Zealand. Although from the point of view of economic profitability, it is more profitable to buy meat and meat products from Kyrgyzstan, due to the lower cost of raw materials and more convenient and profitable delivery routes.

However, it is noted that it is necessary to establish meat production in the republic on a more significant scale, since today the capacities are not enough. Now the main players are relatively small livestock farms that are unable to fully satisfy the needs of potential partners.
